Verisimilitude | a tribute to art.

Once in lilac grew cadmium, lustier and yellow.
Sharp fierce eyes, thirsty and full of naughtiness.
It grew upon stage, and bellow it kissed the vermilion.

Inch by inch the tapestry was fed to a silent public.
The rendition resolved; the chairs parted.

Within splinters grew the porous spectacle of moss.
Upon the altar the fabric lay bare and forgotten.
Such is the truth and such is the lie.

“Art is a lie that makes us realize truth.” (Pablo Picasso)
